TMS Honorary Member Scott W. Walkowicz will present an informative webinar on anchor design for natural and cast stone cladding of various sizes with emphasis on large scale or ‘dimensional’ stone. Stone anchoring system selection criteria will be presented followed by discussion of back-up system considerations and anchor design examples. Content will also include a summary of available code and design guide provisions and their application. Hand analysis and FEA methods will be illustrated.

Spring Meeting Registration Open: The Masonry Society (TMS) will hold its Spring Business Meetings on April 30 through May 2 near the Charlotte International Airport. We hope you'll be able to join us for these important meetings that will include a critical meeting of TMS 402/602 as the Committee will be preparing revisions for review by the Technical Activities Committee following the meetings. Most of TMS's other Committee's will also be meeting and working on a number of important publications, guides, and projects and TMS's Board of Directors will be considering a budget for its 2021 Fiscal Year that will begin in August.
