Attorney Jeffrey W. Coleman Receives Construction Industry Awards

Minneapolis attorney Jeffrey W. Coleman is receiving recognition from the construction industry this spring through two awards.

In April, The American Concrete Institute (ACI) is presenting the Delmar L. Bloem Distinguished Service Award to Mr. Coleman, founding partner of the Coleman Law Firm. Mr. Coleman is being honored for his “outstanding leadership” of the ACI’s committee for Responsibility in Concrete Construction.

The Minnesota Concrete Council (MCC) presented the Richard Stehly Industry Advancement Award to Mr. Coleman on February 25th of this year.

Mr. Coleman is honored to be associated with these two giants of the concrete construction industry.

“Especially Dick Stehly,” he says. “Dick was one of the founders of American Engineering Testing, Inc. and American Petrographic Services, Inc. He pioneered the use of fly ash in concrete, and he contributed to the design and construction of the Metrodome and the Target Field baseball stadium.

“But most important, Dick was my mentor and friend, my hunting and fly fishing buddy,” he continues.”

The MCC Annual report says of Mr. Coleman, “Our community and our industry are touched almost daily in many ways, both seen and unseen, by Jeff’s activities.”

These awards reflect the ongoing commitment of all the attorneys of the Coleman Law Firm to serving those in the construction industry. The firm handles contracts, litigation, arbitration and mediation for architects, engineers, concrete suppliers, building owners concrete contractors and construction firms.
