Tech Talk Tuesdays
The Minnesota Concrete Council (MCC) has recently been established as an American Concrete Institute (ACI) Chapter. Becoming an ACI Chapter will provide MCC with additional resources from which to offer more technical based education programs in addition to its current non-ACI programming. MCC is excited to add participation in ACI Chapter events to the lists of other benefits offered to its members.

Tech Talk Tuesdays will be held at Midland Hills Country Club in Roseville.  Registration for Tech Talk Tuesdays will open at 11:30 am. A buffet lunch will be served beginning at noon. The presentation will begin at 12:30 pm and will conclude by 1:30 pm.  Cost to attend is $35 ($25 early bird). YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A MEMBER OF EITHER MCC OR THE NEW ACI CHAPTER TO ATTEND TECH TALK TUESDAY! Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance for one professional development hour.  Click the link below for additional information on the inaugural event.

March 12 - MCC 30th Anniversary Topgolf Event

MCC is turning 30 this year! Each year MCC’s membership base has grown and the number and quality of the programs offered by MCC has grown with it. Continuing education programs, hands-on demonstrations, golf and sporting clays events, scholarships, research, ACI local chapter events… The list of MCC activities is hard to keep track of even for those who are tapped in regularly.

The MCC Board of Directors and Membership Committee invite you to join us for a 30th Anniversary Celebration at Topgolf in Brooklyn Center Tuesday afternoon, March 12. The purpose of the event is to provide a fun way for our members to have a chance to network in a relaxed atmosphere while learning more about what MCC has to offer. The kicker? We want you to invite someone from your office who doesn’t currently attend MCC events – who may not even know that they’re a member. Our goal this year is to increase participation from a broader, more diverse cross-section of our current membership base. You are encouraged to invite colleagues from within your company or even someone from a company who is not currently a member but who could gain from involvement in MCC.

The event will begin with a short panel discussion that will be moderated by the 2017 MCC President, Murphy Curran (Meyer Borgman Johnson). Panelists will include four industry greats who have supported MCC since its inception - Dave Pace, Mike Ramerth, Dean Stroschein and Terry Swor. They will reminisce about how their involvement with MCC has impacted their careers and provide some insight on what they wish they knew at the beginning of their careers.

Please join us for what is sure to be an incredible event!
