Jeffrey W. Coleman Named VP of the American Concrete Institute

Jeff Coleman joins 

Top leadership of worldwide concrete association as VP


The Coleman Law Firm is delighted to announce that partner Jeff Coleman, PE, FACI, has been named Vice President of the American Concrete Institute (ACI), an international association for individuals and organizations involved in concrete design, construction, and materials.


Mr. Coleman is the only attorney who is also a Fellow in the ACI, where he has been active for over 38 years. He just completed a one-year term as chairman of the ACI Foundation. Of accepting this position, Mr. Coleman said, "Serving as a leader of this eminent association is a privilege and an honor."


Mr. Coleman's leadership role will total six years, with the two year term of ACI vice president preparing him to become president in Spring 2020, and then past president, serving the ACI's nearly 20,000 members in over 120 countries.


Jeffrey Coleman, PE, FACI has been a licensed structural engineer since 1977 and a practicing attorney since 1984. Widely known for his knowledge of concrete law, he is the author of Legal Issues in Concrete Construction (1st and 2nd editions.) His practice focuses on: claims avoidance through smart contracting; early and cost-effective resolution of potential claims; and defense of claims through mediation, arbitration or litigation.
