Inspec Annual Half-Day Seminar: Building Envelope Design for Colder Climates

Colder climates present unique challenges to the Building Envelope designer:  significantly different temperatures inside and outside of the building, condensation problems, vapor drive, snow management and control, energy conservation, and a wide array of other issues. What might work well in warmer climates can lead to serious damage to the building in colder climates like ours. This seminar will present valuable information on Building Envelope Design for Colder Climates, including: roofs, exterior walls, windows and curtainwalls, and waterproofing. In addition, the new International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) will be discussed and how this new code affects the design and construction of the building envelope.  Attend this seminar to learn more about unique design requirements for colder climates and how to prevent damage to your buildings.
