How Safety Awareness Has Helped Our Company

CEO Corner

We have an active safety committee that reviews current safety issues, sets company safety goals and reviews near misses, incidents and accidents. The committee's input carries weight when it comes to evaluating what went wrong. As a company, we use the committee's recommendations to improve and work toward an accident free work place.

Last year our safety committee set a goal to have all of our foremen OSHA 30 Hour trained by years' end, and this year the goal was to have everyone in our company OSHA 10 Hour trained. We met both of these goals, which helped our safety culture through everyone better understanding the importance of safety and being all on the same page.
